CU Runners Paced by Fjelstul and Giordano At GNAC Cross Country ChampionshipsPublished by
Both the Concordia Cavalier men and women's cross country teams placed tenth at the 2018 Great Northwest Athletic Conference (GNAC) Championships at the Ash Creek Preserve in Monmouth, Ore. Dominic Giordano paced the Cavalier men with a 36th place time of 26:12 in the 8K race while Alaska Anchorage's Wesley Kirui won the GNAC men's title with his time of 24:38. The Seawolves capture the conference men's team title with 46 points. Bailey Fjelstul led CU's women with a 44th place time of 23:40.2 in the 6K race. Emmanuelah Chelimo of Alaska Anchorage captured the women's race with a time of 21:25.1 while the Seawolves also captured the women's team title with 49 points. Read the full article at: gocugo.com
